It's Kiwanis Week and the Final Market Harvest Party! Join in the fun!

Well Folks, this is it! The final week of the 2011 season for the Downtown BG Farmer's market! We hope you've enjoyed the food, fun and community involvement as much as we have. We are coming away from it with new finds, some early purchase holiday gifts, new recipes, and best of all, new friends. We couldn't ask for more.

Toraigh as Sonas will bless us with their time and talents from 5 to 7 P.M.

Autumn market finds for the week:

  • Pumpkins
  • Acorn, butternut, spaghetti and other winter squash varieties
  • Tomatoes and tomatillos
  • Hardy Mums and Asters ready to plant
  • Fancy, decorative squash of all colors and sizes
  • Raw, Local honey
  • Hearty Homemade Breads, muffins and cookies
  • Great homemade crafts and gift ideas for upcoming holidays!

Please join us one last time this season: enjoy a warm cup of coffee or cocoa from Grounds For Thought, some fresh homemade cookies from Buggy Whip Bakery, and visit with friends in the cool, outdoor autumn air.

The Wood County Humane Society will be with us one last time to bring some adorable and adoptable friends for a meet and greet!

Mark your calendar for the Winter Market! We're putting together three weeks of the market, inside at the Wood County District Library. Several of our vegetable farmers will have crops and of course there will be wonderful baked goods and crafts. The sessions are December 3, 10 and 17 from 11am-4 pm.
